Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address. Used to sign you in (a passwordless magic link) and to bond your collection to your account. We never ask for or store a password.
• Your collection. Which cards you claim, and when — so your archive is permanent and verifiable.
• Approximate location. When you claim a card, we record a coarse location (country, region, and city) derived automatically from your connection's IP address. This is not precise GPS — there is no location prompt — and we do not store your IP address itself. It helps us understand where our collectors are.
• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we keep what you submit so we can reply.
• Basic device/usage data. Standard, non-identifying information your browser sends, used to run and secure the site.

How we use it

To operate your account and collection, to verify card ownership, to reply to your inquiries, to understand and improve the product (including where our collectors are, in aggregate), and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted providers to run SkyPixels, and share only what each needs:

• Supabase — our database and authentication.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
• Google Workspace — delivering our emails (sign-in links, replies).

If we ever partner with airlines or other card publishers, any collector data made available to them is limited to aggregate, non-identifying analytics (such as claim counts and approximate locations) — never your email or precise identity — unless you explicitly agree otherwise.

Cookies & local storage

We use only what's necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Your choices & rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Because your collection is bonded to your email, deleting your account removes your ability to prove ownership of already-claimed cards. To make a request, email us at hello@skypixels.io.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. Access to data is restricted and protected by database-level security rules.

Children

SkyPixels is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll revise the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
